In development · early-bird waitlist open

Get through Google Play’s 12-tester, 14-day wall without the guesswork.

Day15 is a do-it-yourself production-access kit for indie Android developers: keep your closed-test streak alive, answer the Data safety form, write the privacy policy, and prepare the production questionnaire. You bring the testers; Day15 helps you keep them and get the paperwork right.

Planned early-bird price: around $15 one-time. Nothing is for sale yet and no payment is collected on this site.

The problem, in Google’s own words

If your personal Play developer account was created after November 13, 2023, Google requires a closed test with at least 12 testers opted in continuously for 14 days before you can apply for production access.

The streak

One drop-out can cost you days

Testers who opt out before 14 days don’t count, and a tester who opts out and back in needs 14 consecutive days. Plenty of developers find out the hard way. Details

The review

“Your app requires more testing”

Google lists fewer than 12 opted-in testers or insufficient engagement as reasons to keep testing. What to do

The paperwork

Data safety, privacy policy, questionnaire

Three more things to get right: a form that must match what your app really does, a compliant privacy policy, and a three-part application. Prep guide

What’s planned for the kit

Everything below is planned, not shipped. The waitlist tells us whether it’s worth finishing, and who to tell first.

Planned

Opt-in streak tracker

A day-by-day log of how many testers you have opted in, with a warning when your buffer over 12 gets thin. It won’t connect to your Play Console account; you enter the count you see there.

Planned

Tester reminder emails

A ready-to-send sequence for days 0, 3, 7, 12 and 15 that tells testers what to try and asks them to stay opted in, which is exactly what Google tells developers to do.

Planned

Data safety answers from your permissions

Paste your app’s permissions and SDKs, get a drafted set of Data safety answers and the questions to check. A starting point only: permissions don’t equal collection, and you’re responsible for the final answers.

Planned

Privacy policy generator

A plain-language privacy policy built around the items Google’s User Data policy lists: developer info, data types, sharing, security, retention and deletion.

Planned

Production questionnaire drafts

Prompts and a worksheet for the three sections of “Apply for production”, built from your own tester notes so answers are specific, not boilerplate.

Planned

Early-bird price

Around $15 one-time for waitlist members. This is our current plan, not an offer, and it may change before launch.

What Day15 is not

  • Not a tester supply service. Services that provide testers exist. Day15 is for developers who recruit their own testers and want to keep them opted in.
  • Not a shortcut. It can’t shorten the 14 days, and nobody can promise Google will approve your app.
  • Not an authority. We’re not affiliated with Google. Our guides cite Google’s Play Console Help; where Google and we disagree, Google wins.
  • Not a guarantee your Data safety form is right. Google says only you have the information needed to complete it.

Questions

Is the kit available now?

No. Day15 is in development. The guides on this site are free and available today; the kit itself launches to the waitlist first.

How much will it cost?

Our plan is an early-bird price of around $15, one time, for people on the waitlist. Nothing is charged when you join, and we’ll tell you the final price before you decide.

Will it get my app approved?

No tool can promise that. Google makes the decision. The kit helps you avoid the avoidable problems: losing tester count, mismatched disclosures and thin questionnaire answers.

Do you provide testers?

No. You bring them. If you need testers, the recruiting guide covers where Google suggests looking.

Who is behind this?

Anchor Point Apps LLC, a small independent app studio.

What do you do with my email?

Use it to tell you when the kit is ready. See the privacy page.
